OK, I admit it…

I’ve been absolute crap at updating this thing over the last… oh… four months. This is my reasoning: It took us two months to find an apartment. We had to search, pack, and move. and then unpack. In the mean time I was still working the night shift.
Well, I’m all moved in now. Admittedly I still haven’t unpacked a lot of my junk – I need a desk and a set of drawers – but I feel more settled in now. And! I’m finally on the day shift at work which is EXCELLENT because it means I will be more likely to update.
This is what has been going on:
-I went to the Newport Folk Festival this past weekend and it was very pleasant. Keep an eye on www.npr.org/music because they will have streaming audio of all of the bands (I hope). Check out the Low Anthem – they are really wonderful.
-I started a TwitPic account which is pretty much all scans from work. You can check it out here.
-We have a giant, GIANT Andy Warhol Chanel No. 5 print hanging in our living room now. I’m pretty sure it is the size of our bed.

Grand - is a store not too far from my new neighborhood. Interesting stuff and an excellent space.
Matt Murphy’s – is an excellent pub in Brookline Village. They’ve had a bit of legal trouble lately which has led them to completely change their format. They have a new menu which is pretty much amazing. Also: Andy the bartender is probably the best feature. I go to trivia on wednesdays and you should too.
